 About Clark-Fulton…

Clark-Fulton, a neighborhood on Cleveland’s west side, is situated to the west of Tremont and south of Detroit-Shoreway and Ohio City. Clark-Fulton is a popular neighborhood for investors, with a generally low entry price point for properties as the primary lure.

It’s an area with generally low incomes and high crime, but it is more physically intact than many of the other Cleveland neighborhoods with a similar grade, often creating the illusion of having a higher grade than what is truly the case.

In the future it may benefit from its adjacency to Tremont and Ohio City, but any large scale redevelopment is likely pretty far off.

Most of the housing stock, which is a mix of single family houses and mutli-family houses, was built from the late 19th century through the 1920s. The neighborhood benefits from easy access to downtown Cleveland, Metro Health (a large public hospital), and both I-90 and I-71 for access to west side suburbs.

There is a fairly high level of risk associated with this neighborhood, and turnover will be fairly high as is typical in most D-class areas.
