Garfield Heights is situated on the southeast side, and is a very popular city for real estate investors.

The city benefits from I-480 passing through it, providing residents fast and easy access to downtown Cleveland, the west side, and other southeastern suburbs.

Real estate values in Garfield Heights were hit very hard by the recession, but have seen a recent resurgence.

The housing stock is a nice mix of single family houses and duplexes, with a few apartment buildings throughout the city as well. The housing stock ranges in age from the 1920s or older through the 1970s or newer. Additionally, there is a wide range of housing styles and types, from small starter houses to more sizable and upscale houses.

Garfield Park Reservation is situated within Garfield Heights and provides great amenities for the city. The city has consistently invested in resources for the community over the years, and as such is seen as a desireable place to live, resulting in a stable tenant base for investors.

The majority of Garfield Heights is served by the Garfield Heights School District, but a portion of the city off of E. 131st Street is served by the Cleveland City School District.
